The membership of the Future Fund of Central New York is pleased to announce it has chosen their grant focus area for 2010. The Fund is requesting and accepting applications from organizations in Onondaga and Madison counties from not-for-profits working to improve workforce development. They can include organizations that are implementing programs that increase the ability to encourage entrepreneurship and assist in development of new companies, assist displaced workers, offer job readiness training including resume building and networking, or assist with reentry for formerly incarcerated individuals.
The application deadline is January 18, 2010. More information about the Future Fund and a downloadable application is available at www.cnycf.org/futurefund. The Future Fund is a component of the Central New York Community Foundation.
